DESCRIPTION

The MIKADO Collection is inspired by the game “Pick a stick” we used to play in childhood.

Tubes of copper, brass, or stainless steel, which remind us of the Mikado sticks game, are cut in precise angles and fitted with great accuracy in the furniture providing the much-needed support.

The tabletop features wood inlays, purposefully laid into the design in different directions to create a geometric pattern.

In 2018, the Mikado Collection won a “Silver A’ Design Award” in the “Furniture, Decorative Items, and Homeware Design” category.

This piece is entirely made in Portugal and manufactured in an artisanal way. Every step of the process is carefully executed or supervised by the author in a small workshop context.
